Creating Age Group Reports in the MySquash Grading List
This guide explains how to use the Grading List filters in MySquash to generate age‑group reports, export data, and organise the information for easy sorting and analysis.
Please note that only district administrators and statisticians will be able to export the grading list.
Using Filters in the Grading List
1. Opening the Filters
- Go to the Grading List in MySquash.
- Click the Filters button.
2. Applying Filter Options
You can filter by several criteria:
District
Select your district from the dropdown.
Gender
Choose Male, Female, or Any to include all players.
Age Groups
To use age‑specific reporting:
- Leave Age Group set to Any.
- Select a reference date for calculating ages.
- Example: To generate reports for Masters Nationals, choose the event start date (e.g., 17th of the relevant month)
- Choose the appropriate age brackets (e.g., Masters age groups).
3. Generating the Results
- Click Show Results.
- The system will display all players who meet your selected criteria.
- For example, it will show the total number of Masters‑graded players in Auckland.
Exporting the Grading List
Note: this can only be done by district statisticians.
- After filtering, click Export to download the list.
- The export will contain all relevant data for the selected filters.
Preparing the Exported Data for Sorting
To enable quick filtering and sorting:
- Highlight all cells containing information.
- Go to Insert → Table.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
This turns your dataset into a structured table with filter buttons on each column.
Filtering and Sorting the Data
Example: Finding Masters 35 Players
- Use the Age Group filter to select Masters 35.
- Sort by Level (e.g., Largest to Smallest) to find top players.
Example: Filtering by Gender
- Select Female to view the top 35–39 female players in Auckland.
Adjusting Filters
- You can clear or modify filters at any time to switch, for example, from female players to male players.
